Inside LDS Record Preservation

Just released is rare view inside of the process behind record preservation that is done by the Church of Latter Day Saints/FamilySearch.  This presentation was available at the recent National Genealogy Society conference.  One of the facts shared is that they have 2.4 million rolls of microfilm with 3.5 billion images and just as many records in digital form.  Also, the current conditions, each roll of microfilm will survive over 200 years.
